From courtesy clerk to Accenture event producer at Accenture
Bridges was the spark that ignited my career and adult independence.

After graduating from George Washington High School, Christian started at Jewel-Osco in February 2017 as a courtesy clerk and was later promoted to cashier.

His Bridges Youth Employment Specialist spotted an IT opportunity at Accenture that fit his interests in gaming and tinkering with laptops. The first interview did not result in an offer, but Christian secured a position as a location services associate in May 2018, coordinating IT logistics.

In September 2021, he moved into event express support, producing virtual town hall meetings for audiences ranging from 200 to 2,000 attendees.

Now 26, Christian credits the partnership with his Youth Employment Specialist for the speed of his progress and the independence he has built since high school.
