Four arenas, one persistence

Two weeks after his first Bridges meeting, Fabrizzio was hired at UBS Arena. A year later, he was working at four of New York's biggest venues, and is now working toward his security license.

New York, NY

Fabrizzio was a recent high school graduate with limited work experience when he started with Bridges in July 2024. Two weeks after his first meeting, his Youth Employment Specialist attended the UBS Arena hiring event with him. He left hired, as a Ticket Taker.

There was an early hurdle. UBS Arena hires through a union, and Fabrizzio was facing the initial union dues. He wasn't sure he could accept the position. Bridges helped him cover the dues. He started work.

Four months in, he set a new goal: he wanted to work at Madison Square Garden and Barclays. He updated his resume, talked to his union rep, and got himself another interview at Citi Field, which he prepared for and got hired into. He started balancing two arenas.

Almost a year later, Madison Square Garden and Barclays both came through. By the time he completed the Bridges program, Fabrizzio was working at four major New York venues.

He still works at all of them. He worked the 2025 U.S. Open. He's currently working toward his security license.
