Building boats at Waterside Workshops in Berkeley at Waterside Workshops

Graham Scurlock was diagnosed with autism at age four. In mid-October he began a paid internship at Waterside Workshops in Berkeley.

The facility runs a bike repair shop alongside a boat shop where participants build and paint boats and miniature cars, then take the boats out on the water.

His mother, Jackie Kersh, said she was "so thrilled" Bridges found him this paid internship.
