From "I can't even get through an interview" to a job and a college degree
Jacob's anxiety made interviews feel impossible. He earned his first job as a Courtesy Clerk at Jewel-Osco. Today he's a part-time employee, and pursuing his college degree.
When Jacob joined Bridges, he wasn't sure he could make it through a job interview, let alone succeed in a workplace. His anxiety was intense.

At first, the basics were hard. Collecting carts. Bagging efficiently. Remembering where items belonged in the store. With coaching, patience, and practice, he steadily improved.
His supervisors started praising him, his work ethic, his customer service, his positive attitude. He built friendships with coworkers along the way.
Today, Jacob continues to work part-time at Jewel-Osco while pursuing his college degree.
