Hired as a Shop Technician with The Coca-Cola Company
Jayson came to Bridges out of Maynard Jackson High School and Atlanta Technical College, motivated, prepared, and ready. His Bridges YES recognized him immediately. So did Coca-Cola.
Jayson Brown graduated from Maynard Jackson High School and enrolled at Atlanta Technical College, building skills, preparing for a career, and looking for the work experience that would let him show what he could do.
When he came to Bridges, he was paired with Youth Employment Specialist Ken Butler. Ken saw Jayson's potential immediately.
At the same time, the Atlanta Bridges team was building a new partnership with The Coca-Cola Company, including a Shop Technician opening. Ken put Jayson forward as a candidate. Together they prepared, interview readiness, workplace expectations.
Jayson interviewed, was hired, and became one of the first students hired through that new partnership. Today his supervisors point to his dedication, reliability, and work ethic. He's a valued member of the team.
