Eight years at Trucker Huss, an A.A. degree, and now studying legal innovation
Xsenia started at Bridges in 2017, nervous, dropped off by her older sister. Eight years later, she's a full-time Administrative Clerk at the law firm Trucker Huss APC, with an A.A. degree from City College of San Francisco and a current enrollment at Next Gen Legal.

Xsenia Marina Bullock was 17 when she walked into the San Francisco Bridges office in 2017, nervous, professional, dropped off by her older sister. She'd referred herself to the program after hearing about it from a friend.
She has cerebral palsy and scoliosis, with limited mobility in her right hand. None of which she'd let define what she could do. Her YES Ria Santos describes the energy she brought as more determined, not less, because of it.
Within a month of pre-employment training, Xsenia had aced her interview at Safeway/Albertson's and was offered a Courtesy Clerk position at Andronico's on the spot. She worked there from October to December 2017. Andronico's was outstanding at accommodating her, and the door is still open if she ever wants to come back.
But Xsenia had her sights on a career, not a stepping stone. Her next role was at Trucker Huss, APC, a law firm in San Francisco, as a part-time clerk. She set a goal of returning to school. She enrolled at City College of San Francisco. She balanced classes with the job, took her time, and in May 2023 earned her A.A. Degree in Communication.
She received the San Francisco Youth Achievement Award in October 2019 along the way.
Today, Xsenia is a full-time Administrative Clerk at Trucker Huss. Eight years in. With her current employer's encouragement, she's now enrolled at Next Gen Legal to deepen her expertise in legal solutions.
She started at 17, nervous about her first job. She's 26 now, a legal professional, and still studying.
