Five years at Accenture, now CBRE concierge
An Overbrook HS '16 grad, Velaye spent five years at Accenture before moving to CBRE as concierge for a global pharmaceutical account.
Velaye Gordon graduated from Overbrook High School in 2016. Through Bridges, she was hired as a location services associate at Accenture in Philadelphia.
After five years at Accenture, she moved into her current role as an experience reception concierge with CBRE, supporting a global pharmaceutical account in Philadelphia. She has been in the role for over a year.
Velaye, now 28 and a mother to a toddler, returned to share that arc with current participants — joining fellow Bridges alumni at the Philadelphia Marriott Old City in December 2024 for a "Get Inspired" panel.
